SAVINGS DEPOSIT
A Savings Deposit is required among members to increase our Cooperative’s revolving capital.

Minimum deposit of One Hundred Pesos (P100.00) per month

Earn yearly interest at the rate determined by the Board of Directors

Interests earned are credited automatically to the depositor's account
Need to use your savings deposit? You can withdraw your money anytime.
HOW TO DO PARTIAL WITHDRAWAL

Email Best Gem (admin@bestgemcoop.com) the amount you wish to withdraw.

Best Gem will review the withdrawal request.

If the amount is approved, Best Gem will prepare a check and confirm via email when the amount has been deposited to your registered bank account.
SHARE CAPITAL
Share Capital is a non-withdrawable deposit that represents a member’s investment in the Cooperative. Funds generated are used as working capital to meet member needs such as (example)

Gain shares in the business of the Cooperative, where each share has a value of P100

New members are required to put in the initial share capital of P600.00, and P100.00 per succeeding month until they complete the payment for 1,500 shares (P15,000.00), upon which he/she will be issued a Share Certificate

Share capital can only be withdrawn after the membership is terminated.

Interest on share capital is given yearly as declared by the Cooperative

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE
TIME DEPOSIT
This refers to deposits made by members for a specified period of time and withdrawable at a predetermined date.
TYPES OF TIME DEPOSIT

PLATINUM – 4% Interest per annum; term of one (1) year

GOLD – 3% Interest per annum; term of six (6) months
